Our story
Burke Bros Cornice began in the 1980s with husband Jimmy and wife Liz. Liz started up the company making cornice and centre pieces as a hobby. Jimmy, who was a builder at the time, found himself making moulds for the cornice at night. This grew to be their second love and the rest is history.
Jimmy, the owner and a master plasterer, has over 50 years experience in the building and construction industry. Carrying on the family tradition, they have two sons, Glenn and Niall, who also work for the company. Their main job, along with Jimmy, is fitting cornice for an ongoing client base and for private clients.
We have two teams on the road who travel the length and breadth of Ireland. We have worked on hotels, castles, shops, hospitals, restaurants, leisure centres, factories and private houses, including some famous peoples’ houses. We take great pride in delivering the best and highest standard of work at all times.
